■Story
A priest who has come to the capital meets an old man carrying pails of water who tells him that he is taking them to the salt-pans. When the priest questions whether there are any salt-pans in kyoto,the man explains that when Minaoto no Toru built there a residence known as the Kawara-no-in, he had made in the grounds a replica of a bay in the province of Mutsu complete down to the saltpans, and it is there that he is taking the water. He then reveals that he is the ghost of Toru,and fades from sight.He later appears as the noble himself,tells of the splendours of his palace and dances.
